This is a cover of the Bush song from Sixteen Stone. My favorite track by that band by far. I love the way it makes me feel. I've clearly changed it a lot, but, I like it.

I'm putting out this song for free because it's not my song. Gavin Rossdale wrote it. Bush performed it. This is just a version of it. I would recommend revisiting theirs.

If you'd like to download other songs, you can. All songs on this site are pay what you want. Including free.

I recommend sitting back, listening with headphones, maybe by candlelight, closing your eyes and letting it sink it. The singing is average, the guitar playing awful, the sound very lo-fi, but there's something very magical about that.

(They have been altered slightly for this version.)
Sunlight comes and goes
Give each other all we know
In silence we still talk
By the light of the stereo waltz
And will you rain down?
You're so mad electric
Wanna hold you like
Nothing's gonna happen

Flicker on a TV screen
Everything's more than it seems
The mighty backward fall
Stare at the light on the wall
And I swear to this
She felt like velvet
Second blonde child
Like velvet, velvet

As she comes to take me away
It's all that I needed
I don't need another lover

I'm an alien, you're an alien
It's a beautiful rain, beautiful rain
